This is the introduction and table of contents for a compilation of short stories I'm thinking of writing. If the imaginary person reading this would be so kind as to let me know what they think, and which dream seems most interesting, I would highly appreciate it.
Alli Indigo dreamt. She dreamt strange dreams, dreams of strange things. She dreamt stone tigers and white flowers that burst into flurries of snow. She dreamt ancient houses and wind green springs that hid brass scrolls and strings of sky. Her dreams chased after iridescent birds and recoiled from the colourless monsters that preyed on them. She dreamt small heroes that rode to face dark creatures and the girls that showed them the way. She dreamt crystal salmon and scarlet dragons that sang themselves into gold-eyed girls. Her dreams listened with a child to the voice of a tree and carried the bronze heart of an age old warrior. Alli dreamt and her dreams lived, rising from the purple silhouette of ideas to exist not so far from where she herself slept.
